2009 is gonna rock! The last 7 months of 2008 have been life changing. From walking up the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico to housing our special little girl, life has been personally amazing. Those were 2 major accomplishments!
Out little Sofia Blue is in this picture but we didn't know we had a little stow-away on our trip :)
[By the way, she has the hiccups right now as I type...awww]
Last night was a sleeper. I think Ryan has definitely been domesticated. He has not gained sympathy pregnancy weight (as many books have suggested) but he has definitely moved into a normal daily pattern. See, he has maintained "Rock Star" hours for years. He'd stayed up until 3 or 4 am then he go to sleep and wake up at noon-ish. It's part of his job. Even when he isn't working, the guy would maintain this sleep pattern. Now-a-days, I stay up longer than he does?! And I go sleep early!! And, and...he gets up BEFORE me!
[grief]
Last night we were suppose to go to Steph's family's New Years Black and White bash. Well, we fell asleep. Ryan fell asleep. I was zoning in and out. I just got up in time for the count down (11:57pm). He was fully knocked out as I startled him when I tried to snuggle up next to him on the sofa as the countdown began.
We are grama-jama's! Oh well, we were together, that is all that matters. I got several lovely texts from pals wishing me a Happy New Year. I have a funny feeling it's gonna be amazing!
